While it is optimized for riding in one direction, the board is certainly capable of riding switch. However, because of the 100mm setback, you will notice a different feel compared to a true twin board when riding fakie.

The sintered base is highly porous, meaning it absorbs wax better than extruded bases. This results in a faster, more consistent glide, especially in varying snow conditions or on flatter sections of the mountain.
