While exact times depend on the starting temperature of your food and the ambient environment, the vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction is designed to maintain hot or cold temperatures for several hours, making it ideal for a standard lunch break.

The lid is specifically engineered to be leak-proof, creating a secure seal that prevents spills even when carrying liquids like soups or stews. However, always ensure the lid is screwed on tightly and the vent is closed before tossing it into your bag.

A wide-mouth opening makes it significantly easier to fill the jar without making a mess and allows you to eat directly from the container with a standard spoon or fork. It also provides better access for thorough cleaning, ensuring no food residue gets stuck in the corners.

The vented lid is designed to release pressure that can build up inside the jar when it is filled with hot food. This makes the lid much easier to unscrew, preventing that frustrating 'stuck' feeling often found with other thermal containers.
