While the design is freestanding, we strongly recommend anchoring this unit to the wall for safety, especially if you have children or pets. The glass supports provide stability, but securing it ensures the structure remains safe and level.

The shelves are designed for standard book collections and decorative objects. While the tempered glass supports are incredibly strong, we advise distributing heavier items evenly across the shelves to maintain the unit's balance and structural integrity.

Because the Air Bookcase has no back panel, it works best against a solid wall to act as a backdrop. If you are considering placing it in the middle of a room as a divider, keep in mind that the back of the shelves and the glass supports will be fully visible from the other side.

Assembly is required and involves connecting the wooden shelves to the glass supports. Because of the precision required to align the glass components, we recommend having two people for the assembly process to ensure everything is level and secure.

Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner or a simple vinegar-and-water solution. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, which can scratch the glass or damage the lacquered finish on the wooden shelves.

The lacquered finish is durable, but like any high-end surface, it can be susceptible to scratches from sharp or heavy metal objects. We recommend using felt pads under decorative items or bookends to protect the surface over time.
