BAMBOO BAY Salt Mill

While the mechanism is designed specifically for salt, it is technically capable of grinding peppercorns. However, we recommend dedicating one mill to salt and another to pepper to avoid flavor cross-contamination and potential wear on the ceramic mechanism.

Because it is crafted from natural pakka wood, this mill is not dishwasher safe. Simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry immediately to preserve the wood finish; do not submerge it in water.

The ceramic mechanism provides a consistent grind, but it does not feature an adjustable dial for varying coarseness. It is calibrated to produce a standard, medium-fine grind suitable for most table seasoning.

Refilling is straightforward. Simply unscrew the stainless steel finial at the top, lift off the cap, and pour your salt directly into the chamber.

Pakka wood is highly durable and moisture-resistant due to its multi-layered construction. While it is robust, it is best to keep it away from direct steam or standing water to ensure the wood remains in top condition over time.
