Achla Designs Crackle Glass Bowl & Stand

While the wrought iron stand is durable and weather-resistant, the glass bowl is susceptible to cracking in freezing temperatures. We recommend bringing the glass bowl indoors during harsh winter months to prevent damage from ice expansion.

The bowl is 6 inches deep, which is quite generous. Because it is deep, we recommend placing a few decorative stones or a small rock in the center to create a shallower area, making it safer and more accessible for smaller birds to bathe and drink.

The bowl rests securely within the three-footed wrought iron stand but is not physically locked or bolted down. The weight of the glass and the design of the stand provide enough stability for normal outdoor use, though it should be placed on a level surface.

The crackle texture is on the exterior of the glass, while the interior surface is relatively smooth. It provides enough grip for most birds, but if you find they are struggling to land, adding a few river stones to the bottom will provide the necessary traction.

A simple rinse with mild soap and water is sufficient for regular cleaning. Avoid using harsh abrasive scrubbers or chemical cleaners, as these can scratch the glass or dull the crackle finish over time.
