Given its weight of 706 pounds, this planter requires a solid, level surface like a concrete patio, stone pavers, or a reinforced deck. We strongly recommend placing it in its final location before filling it with soil, as moving it once planted will be extremely difficult.

The cast stone is designed to be low-maintenance and will naturally weather over time, developing a unique patina that adds character. You do not need to seal it, though you can gently clean it with a soft brush and water if you want to remove surface debris.

Because of its size and weight, the planter is typically shipped in sections to ensure safe transport. You will need to assemble the base and the bowl components upon arrival; we recommend having at least two people on hand to safely lift and align the heavy pieces.

While it is designed for outdoor use, you can certainly place it indoors if your flooring can support the significant weight. However, please note that it features pre-installed drainage holes, so you will need to use a saucer or a waterproof liner to protect your floors from water runoff.
