While the porcelain is high-quality, it remains a ceramic material. The included leather case provides excellent padding and protection, but you should still handle the set with the same care you would use for any delicate tea ware.

This set includes three cups, making it ideal for brewing for yourself and one or two companions. It is specifically designed for intimate, gongfu-style tea sessions rather than large group gatherings.

The tea caddy is designed for short-term storage while you are traveling. While it is secure, it is not airtight enough for long-term storage, so we recommend transferring your tea to a proper airtight container once you return home.

The gaiwan is designed with a traditional rim that allows you to grip the edges without touching the hot body. If you are new to using a gaiwan, it may take a few practice pours to get comfortable with the technique.

A simple rinse with warm water is usually sufficient for porcelain tea ware. Avoid using harsh soaps or abrasive scrubbers, which can damage the finish, and ensure each piece is completely dry before packing it back into the leather case to prevent mildew.
