Streptocarpus seeds are quite fine and require patience, as they can be slow to germinate and need consistent moisture. They are best suited for gardeners who are comfortable managing small seeds and maintaining a steady, humid environment during the initial growth phase.

These are tropical plants and are generally not frost-hardy. While they thrive in shaded outdoor spots during warm months, they must be brought indoors or kept in a protected, temperature-controlled environment once temperatures drop.

They prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight, which can scorch the foliage, but ensure they receive enough light to encourage blooming; an east-facing window is often ideal.
