Coir and pine bark are excellent for soil structure. Coir helps the soil retain moisture so roots don't dry out quickly, while pine bark creates air pockets that prevent compaction, allowing roots to breathe and spread more easily.

While it is specifically formulated for raised beds and garden soil revitalization, you can use it in larger containers if you blend it with a lighter potting mix. Because it is quite dense, using it alone in small pots may lead to poor drainage.
