It thrives best in medium indirect sunlight. Avoid placing it in direct, harsh sun, which can scorch the delicate chocolate-green leaves, or in deep shade, which may cause the vibrant lime and yellow markings to fade.

It is considered a manageable plant, but it does have specific needs. Because it requires high humidity—ideally between 70-75%—it is best suited for growers who can provide a consistent environment, such as a terrarium or a spot near a humidifier.

You should aim to water it every 3-4 days. The soil mix, which includes peat moss and orchid bark, is designed to retain moisture while allowing for drainage, so check that the top layer of soil is just beginning to dry out before watering again.

The Tiger Kitten prefers a stable environment between 65-75°F. It is sensitive to cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations, so keep it away from air conditioning vents or drafty windows.
