D3O is a non-Newtonian material, meaning it stays flexible while you're pedaling but instantly hardens upon impact to absorb and dissipate energy. It offers excellent protection without the bulk of traditional hard-shell pads.

They are designed with perforated neoprene to promote airflow and moisture management. While no knee pad is perfectly cool, the combination of the open-back design and breathable materials makes them significantly more comfortable than standard pull-on sleeves.
