Three Sprouts Flower Farm Amaryllis Bulbs

Bulb size is directly correlated to the number of flower stems and blooms you will get. At 36-38 cm, these are premium-sized bulbs, meaning they are mature enough to produce multiple, robust stems and a high volume of flowers for a more impressive display.

While these bulbs are specifically designed for container gardening, they can be planted outdoors if you live in a climate where they are hardy. However, most gardeners prefer pots so they can easily move the plant indoors or to a sheltered area once it begins to bloom.

Amaryllis bulbs thrive in well-draining potting mix. Avoid heavy garden soil, which can retain too much moisture and cause the bulb to rot. A standard, high-quality indoor potting mix with perlite added for drainage is ideal.

When potting your Amaryllis, leave the top third of the bulb exposed above the soil line. Planting the bulb too deeply can encourage rot, so keeping the 'neck' of the bulb above the soil is crucial for a healthy start.

Once planted, place your pot in a spot that receives bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct, scorching sun, but ensure the plant gets enough light to prevent the stems from becoming weak and leggy.
