This stopper is designed specifically for standard champagne and sparkling wine bottles. It may not fit bottles with non-standard neck sizes or unique closures, such as some craft ciders or specialty beers.

The stopper features a secure inner silicone seal that creates an airtight closure. By preventing gas from escaping, it maintains the internal pressure needed to keep your sparkling wine effervescent for several days.

While the stainless steel construction is durable, we recommend hand washing this stopper to preserve the polished chrome finish and the integrity of the silicone seal over time.

The heavyweight design provides a solid, premium feel, but the security of the seal relies on the mechanical fit rather than the weight itself. It is designed to stay firmly in place once engaged.

We recommend storing bottles upright. While the seal is secure, it is designed primarily for vertical storage and may leak if the bottle is laid on its side.
