The included 20-inch stakes are sturdy, but if the ground is frozen solid, you will likely need to use a drill or a punch to create pilot holes before setting them up. The large square bases provide stability on uneven terrain once the stakes are secured.

Because they are one-piece, they do not break down into smaller components, which means they take up more space in your trailer or truck bed compared to collapsible decoys. However, the trade-off is a much faster setup time in the field.
