The hardwood handle provides a natural barrier against heat, making it safer and more comfortable to hold than an all-metal tool. However, it is designed for standard grilling use and should not be left resting directly on the grill grates.

The slots are specifically engineered to drain excess grease and liquids, not to compromise structural integrity. While it is excellent for burgers and steaks, very small or loose items like diced vegetables might slip through.

At 17 inches long, this spatula offers plenty of reach to keep your hands away from the heat source while maintaining good control. It is a standard length that works well for most backyard grills.

The edge is beveled to slide easily under delicate foods like fish or pancakes, not to act as a grill scraper. Using it to scrape heavy, burnt-on residue from your grates may damage the edge over time.

While the stainless steel head is dishwasher safe, the hardwood handle is not. We recommend hand washing the entire tool with warm, soapy water to preserve the finish and longevity of the wood.
