The wood features hand-finished and distressed detailing, which gives it a textured, organic feel rather than a perfectly smooth, glass-like surface. It is durable for dining, but you may want to use a placemat or desk pad if you plan on doing detailed writing.

Assembly is required, primarily involving attaching the heavy iron base to the solid wood tabletop. Given the table's weight of 159 pounds, we recommend having two people on hand to safely flip and position the table once assembled.

The geometric iron base is sturdy and heavy, so it is advisable to use felt pads on the bottom of the feet. This will protect your flooring and make it easier to make minor adjustments to the table's position.

The table is designed to accommodate six people comfortably. While you might squeeze in extra chairs for a large gathering, the trestle-style base design may limit legroom at the ends of the table, so six is the recommended capacity for daily use.

To preserve the finish, wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or excessive moisture, and consider using a high-quality wood wax or oil periodically to keep the mango wood hydrated and protected.
