Motta Tamp Stand

A tamping stand provides a level, stable surface that protects your countertop from scratches and prevents your portafilter from slipping. It ensures your portafilter remains perfectly horizontal during the tamp, which is essential for achieving an even extraction and preventing channeling.

The Motta Tamp Stand is designed with a universal geometry that accommodates most standard portafilter handles and baskets. Its open design allows for a secure fit regardless of whether you are using a 58mm commercial portafilter or a slightly smaller home machine setup.

The integrated rubber base is designed to grip firmly onto smooth surfaces like granite, marble, or laminate. It effectively prevents the stand from sliding or shifting while you apply pressure, providing the necessary stability for a consistent tamp.

The stand is crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion and staining. While it is durable, we recommend hand washing and drying it after use to maintain its polished finish and prevent water spots.
