Vagabond House Acacia Wood Cheese Serving Board

While the acacia wood is durable, this piece is primarily designed as a serving board. Using sharp knives directly on the surface will leave cut marks and may eventually dull your blades, so we recommend using it for presentation rather than heavy-duty prep work.

Hand wash the board with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately to prevent the wood from warping. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as both the wood and the pewter accent can be damaged by high heat and prolonged moisture.

The pewter is designed to maintain its character over time. If you notice it losing its luster, you can gently polish it with a soft cloth, but avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that might stain or damage the surrounding acacia wood.

Acacia is a dense, oily wood, but it will benefit from occasional maintenance. We recommend applying a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner every few months to keep the wood hydrated, prevent cracking, and maintain its rich, natural color.

A 10-inch board is perfectly sized for an intimate gathering. It comfortably accommodates two to three types of cheese, a small pile of crackers, and a handful of accompaniments like grapes or nuts.
