While the pan is technically dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing it. Aluminum can oxidize and discolor when exposed to the harsh chemicals in dishwasher detergents, which may leave a dull, grey residue on the surface.

Most standard residential ovens are too small for a full-size 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pan. Before purchasing, measure the interior width and depth of your oven rack to ensure it can accommodate these dimensions.

The closed-bead rim is designed to provide structural integrity and prevent rust by eliminating open crevices where food and water can get trapped. While it is more hygienic than an open rim, it is best to dry the pan thoroughly after washing to prevent any moisture buildup inside the rim.

Using parchment paper or silicone mats is highly recommended. It not only makes cleanup easier but also protects the aluminum surface from acidic ingredients, which can cause pitting or discoloration over time.

Aluminum is an excellent heat conductor, which allows this pan to heat up quickly and distribute heat evenly across the entire surface. This helps ensure consistent browning and prevents hot spots that can lead to unevenly cooked cookies or roasted vegetables.
