While you can technically pour the oil into any vessel, the Jo Malone London diffuser is designed to work specifically with the provided reeds for optimal evaporation. Using a different vessel may affect the scent throw or the rate at which the oil is consumed.

Over time, diffuser reeds become saturated with oil and clogged with dust, which significantly reduces their ability to pull the fragrance upward. Replacing the reeds with each refill ensures the scent remains fresh and potent.

Longevity depends on the size of the room, the temperature, and how many reeds you choose to use at once. On average, this amount of fragrance oil will last between three to four months.

You don't have to. Using all 10 reeds provides the strongest scent throw, which is ideal for larger rooms. If you find the fragrance too intense or are placing the diffuser in a smaller space, start with fewer reeds and add more as needed.
