The stone-washing process breaks down the fibers, resulting in a significantly softer, more relaxed hand-feel right out of the package. It also gives the fabric a slightly lived-in, matte appearance that feels less stiff than traditional, untreated linen.

Because this runner is made from 100% linen, minor shrinkage is possible during the first wash. However, the fabric is pre-washed during production to minimize this, and following the care instructions—typically washing in cool water and air drying—will keep the dimensions stable.

These certifications ensure that the linen is free from harmful chemicals and produced sustainably. EUROPEAN FLAX guarantees the fiber is grown in Western Europe without irrigation or GMOs, while OEKO-TEX confirms the finished product has been tested for safety against harmful substances.

This runner is machine washable, which makes it practical for regular use. We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and laying it flat or hanging it to dry to preserve the integrity of the mitered corners and fabric texture.

While they look polished and intentional, mitered corners also help the runner drape more cleanly over the edges of your table. This construction prevents the corners from bunching or curling, ensuring a flat, tailored look.
