At 2.5mm thick, this tape offers a noticeable step up in cushioning compared to standard, thinner wraps. While it won't eliminate severe fit issues, the EVA foam blend is specifically designed to dampen road vibration and reduce fatigue on longer rides.

The adhesive is designed to keep the tape secure while you ride, but it is not a permanent bond. When it comes time to replace the wrap, you should be able to peel it off without leaving excessive residue on your handlebars.

This tape is specifically cut and sized for road drop-bars. While you could technically wrap it around flat bars or bullhorns, the length and stretch characteristics are optimized for the curves and transitions of a drop-bar setup.

The kit includes chromed plastic bar plugs. They are standard, functional plugs that provide a clean, finished look, though they are not as impact-resistant as metal or locking-style bar ends.

The EVA foam material is generally easy to wipe down with a damp cloth. However, because it has a cushioned, slightly textured surface, it can hold onto dirt more than a smooth synthetic leather tape, so it may require a bit more attention after a muddy ride.
