Nature Bee Beeswax Food Wraps

The warmth of your hands is the key. Simply hold the wrap over the bowl or around the food item for a few seconds; the heat softens the beeswax, allowing it to mold and create a secure seal as it cools.

It is best to avoid using beeswax wraps directly on raw meat or fish. Because the wraps must be washed in cool water, you cannot properly sanitize them to remove potential bacteria from raw proteins.

Wash your wraps with cool water and a mild, eco-friendly dish soap, then let them air dry. Never use hot water, microwaves, or dishwashers, as heat will melt the wax coating and ruin the wrap.

With proper care, these wraps last about 9 to 12 months or up to 300 uses. You will know it is time to compost them when the wax coating begins to wear thin, the wrap stops sticking effectively, or the fabric starts to fray significantly.

You may notice a faint, pleasant scent of beeswax or pine resin when you first use them, but this will not transfer to your food. The materials are food-grade and designed to keep your items fresh without altering their flavor.
