Intice Gelanimo is formulated to target common household ant species. While it is highly effective for most sugar-feeding ants, it may not be the right solution for species that primarily feed on grease or proteins.

While you can apply the gel directly to cracks and crevices, using it with bait stations is highly recommended. Stations keep the gel contained, prevent it from drying out too quickly, and protect pets or children from accidental contact.

You should notice a reduction in ant activity within a few days. Because the bait is designed to be carried back to the nest, it takes time for the colony to consume the bait and for the population to collapse.

When used according to the label instructions—specifically by placing it in bait stations or inaccessible cracks—the risk to pets is minimal. Always ensure the bait is placed where pets cannot reach or ingest it.

The transparent formula is designed for discreet application. It allows you to treat high-traffic areas like countertops, baseboards, or window sills without leaving unsightly, colored residue behind.

Avoid using contact sprays near the bait stations. Sprays can contaminate the bait and repel the ants, preventing them from carrying the gel back to the nest, which is essential for eliminating the colony.
