If you are comfortable with basic pool or landscape plumbing, you can likely handle the installation, but we recommend hiring a professional if you are unsure about ensuring a watertight seal.

The Maya Water Bowl is engineered for a flow rate of 7-10 gallons per minute (GPM). Staying within this range ensures a smooth, consistent sheet of water; too little flow may cause the water to drip rather than cascade, while too much pressure can cause splashing.

Because each Maya Water Bowl is individually handcrafted, you should expect slight variations in the finish and texture. These unique characteristics are intentional and add to the custom, artisanal quality of the piece.

Copper will naturally patina over time, developing a rich, darkened finish that many find desirable. If you prefer to keep the bright, metallic look, you can use a copper cleaner, but it is not required for the structural integrity of the scupper.
