Yes, the fiber-reinforced cement is designed to withstand outdoor elements. However, like any concrete furniture, we recommend covering it during harsh winters or extreme weather to preserve the finish over the long term.

Because it is made of solid, fiber-reinforced cement, this bench is quite heavy and sturdy. It is intended to be a permanent or semi-permanent fixture, so you will likely need two people to move it into place.

The finish is a natural concrete texture, which is generally smooth but retains the subtle, organic variations characteristic of cement. It is comfortable for seating but has a matte, architectural feel rather than a polished, glass-like surface.

The bench is durable as-is, but concrete is porous. To prevent staining from spills or outdoor debris, you can apply a concrete sealer once a year to keep the surface protected and looking fresh.

Due to the weight and material, we strongly recommend using felt pads or protective furniture glides on the base if you plan to use it on hardwood, tile, or laminate floors to prevent scratching.
