Yes, the metal surface is much easier to maintain than wood. It resists soil buildup and moisture, allowing you to simply wipe it down with a damp cloth after you finish your gardening tasks.

While the materials are designed for outdoor use, the bench will last significantly longer if you cover it during harsh winter months or periods of heavy rain. If you live in an area with extreme weather, storing it in a shed or garage during the off-season is the best way to protect the wood.
