Because this is OMRI-certified organic coco coir, it is generally ready to use right out of the bag. However, always check your specific nutrient regimen, as some growers prefer to pre-charge the medium with a light nutrient solution during the initial expansion phase.

Each bag features two dedicated pre-drilled holes designed to fit standard Micro Dripper Assemblies. This allows you to insert your irrigation stakes directly into the bag for consistent, targeted hydration without needing to manually poke holes or risk damaging the medium structure.

While the bags are optimized for drip irrigation systems, they can be hand-watered. Keep in mind that the coco coir is designed to hold moisture efficiently, so you will need to monitor your watering frequency to avoid over-saturation if you aren't using an automated system.
