Hand wash the board with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking it in water or putting it in the dishwasher, as the wood can warp and the marble can become porous if left submerged.

While marble is a hard, durable surface, cutting directly on it can dull your knife blades and potentially scratch the stone finish. We recommend using this board primarily for serving and presentation rather than as a heavy-duty cutting board.

To keep the wood looking its best and prevent it from drying out, apply a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner every few months. This helps maintain the wood's natural luster and creates a protective barrier against moisture.

The board is designed for serving room-temperature or chilled items like cheeses, fruits, and charcuterie. It is not intended to withstand high heat, so avoid placing hot pans or dishes directly onto the surface.

The marble features a smooth, polished finish that provides a sleek look and makes it easier to wipe clean. This finish also helps resist staining from acidic foods like citrus or balsamic vinegar, though it is still best to wipe spills promptly.
