While the material is derived from recycled plastic bottles, the polyester blend is engineered to feel soft and functional. The waffle weave texture provides a tactile, slightly scrubby feel that is effective for drying without being abrasive.

It is designed for both. The 18 x 30-inch size and the inclusion of a sewn-in cotton loop make it equally practical as a hand towel in the bathroom or a dish towel in the kitchen.

The waffle weave is designed to maximize surface area for absorption and airflow, which generally helps it release debris during washing. However, because of the textured structure, it is less prone to trapping lint than traditional plush terry cloth towels.

Because these towels are hand-crafted in the United States, slight variations in dimensions and pattern placement are normal. You can expect them to be very close to the 18 x 30-inch specification, but they may not be identical if you order multiple pieces.
