DC15 Brushbar Assembly

This assembly is specifically designed for the Dyson DC15. Before purchasing, check your current roller; this part is only compatible with units that originally came with a gray roller. If your existing roller is a different color, this assembly will not fit.

The assembly measures 7.75 inches on the long end and 4.625 inches on the short end. We recommend measuring your current brushbar to ensure these dimensions match your specific unit.

Replacing a worn brushbar won't change the suction power itself, but it will significantly improve agitation. A fresh brushbar ensures the bristles make proper contact with your carpet fibers, allowing the vacuum to lift and remove debris more effectively.

Replacing the brushbar is a standard maintenance task for most upright vacuums. While the process is straightforward, you will need basic tools to access the brushroll housing. Consult your vacuum's user manual for specific disassembly instructions.

There isn't a set timeframe, but you should inspect it whenever you notice the bristles are worn down, frayed, or if the roller no longer spins freely. If the brushbar is damaged or the bristles are flattened, it is time for a replacement to maintain cleaning performance.
