Thanks to the platinum silicone's naturally nonstick surface, you generally don't need to grease the mold. However, for intricate recipes or very sticky batters, a light dusting of flour or a quick spray of oil can provide extra insurance for a clean release.

Absolutely. While it is oven and microwave safe, the flexible silicone is excellent for freezer-set desserts. The flexibility makes it much easier to unmold delicate items like mousse or panna cotta compared to rigid metal pans.

The mold is dishwasher safe, which is the easiest way to clean it. If you prefer hand washing, warm soapy water and a soft sponge will do the trick; avoid using abrasive scrubbers or sharp metal utensils, as these can scratch or compromise the nonstick surface.

Because the silicone is flexible, it can be slightly wobbly when full. We recommend placing the mold on a flat baking sheet or tray before filling it; this provides a stable base to move the mold into the oven without spilling your batter.

This platinum silicone mold is heat resistant up to 428°F (220°C). It is perfectly safe for standard baking temperatures, but you should avoid direct contact with heating elements or open flames.
