The vase features a narrow, pinched waist that acts as a natural anchor for stems. This structure keeps flowers upright and prevents them from splaying outward, allowing you to create a balanced, professional-looking arrangement without needing floral foam or tape.

While it is crafted from high-fired porcelain, which is inherently durable, it remains a ceramic object. It is designed for daily use as a functional piece of art, but like any fine porcelain, it should be handled with care to avoid chips or cracks.

The Twist No.1 is designed to perfectly balance two standard market bouquets. Because of its unique silhouette, it works best with a generous amount of stems to fill the space, but it also makes a striking sculptural statement when displayed completely empty.

The satin-clear glaze is fully watertight and easy to maintain. You can clean it with warm water and mild soap, just as you would with any standard ceramic vase, to keep the finish looking pristine.

Because each piece is individually slip-cast and finished by hand, there will be subtle variations in the form and glaze. These slight differences are intentional and serve as a mark of the human touch, ensuring your specific vase is a unique, numbered edition.
