With proper care, you can expect your finished wraps to last between 12 and 18 months. Over time, the coating may wear down, but you can easily refresh them by applying a bit more of the mixture.

Yes, avoid using these wraps for raw meat or fish. Because the wraps are cleaned with cool water, they cannot be sanitized to the level required for handling raw proteins.

Simply wash them in cool water with a mild, eco-friendly dish soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the wax coating and ruin the wrap's ability to seal.

You will need a clean cotton fabric, a grater or knife to shave the bar, and a heat source like an oven or an iron to melt the mixture into the fibers. Parchment paper is also recommended to protect your surfaces during the process.
