The octagonal profile is designed to bite into the ball upon impact. This mechanical grip helps you generate more spin and control, which is particularly useful if you are a baseliner who relies on heavy topspin to keep shots inside the lines.

While it is a firm co-polyester, it is engineered to be more arm-friendly than traditional polyester strings. The silicone oil infusion technology helps dampen harsh vibrations, making it a comfortable option for players who want control without sacrificing feel.

The SIF technology allows the strings to slide against each other more easily and snap back into place rapidly after impact. This rapid snapback is what creates that extra rotation on the ball and helps maintain consistent playability throughout the life of the string.

Because of its above-average comfort for a polyester, many players find it very playable in a full bed setup. However, if you prefer a softer feel or want to extend the life of your strings, it also works exceptionally well as the main string in a hybrid setup.

A standard tennis racquet requires approximately 12 meters of string for a full restring. A 200-meter reel will typically provide enough material for about 16 to 17 string jobs, depending on your racquet head size and stringing pattern.
