These blades are designed specifically for 46-inch cutting decks that utilize a star-shaped center hole pattern. Before purchasing, verify that your mower deck size is 46 inches and that your current blade mounting system uses the star pattern, which is standard on most modern Cub Cadet riding mowers and RZT models.

While these blades are designed for mulching, they function best when used in conjunction with a proper mulching plug or cover for your deck. Without a plug to keep clippings inside the deck, the grass will discharge normally rather than recirculating to fertilize your lawn.

This set is designed for 46-inch decks that operate using two blades. Replacing both blades at the same time ensures your mower remains balanced, which prevents vibration and ensures an even, consistent cut across your entire lawn.
