The elliptical void is designed to be ergonomic, allowing you to grip the side of the vessel securely. While it feels different from a traditional protruding handle, the balance is well-centered, making it easy to pour even when filled to its 1.2-liter capacity.

Because this piece is hand-crafted from molten glass, we recommend hand washing it with warm, soapy water. Avoid harsh abrasives to maintain the clarity and finish of the glass.

This jug is designed specifically for cold liquids like water, juice, or iced tea. It is not intended for use with boiling or very hot liquids, as the thermal shock could potentially damage the handmade glass.

The opening is wide enough to accommodate a standard bottle brush, which is recommended for reaching the bottom and sides. Because of the sculptural void, just be sure to rinse it thoroughly to prevent any water spots from settling in the crevices.

It is made from high-quality glass, but like any handmade glassware, it requires careful handling. It is durable enough for regular table use, but you should avoid clinking it against other hard surfaces or stacking it with other items.
