A full complement chain features a cutter on every drive link, which allows for a faster, more aggressive cut. This design is ideal for general yard work and limbing, though it may require more frequent sharpening than a skip-tooth chain.

Replacing them as a set is highly recommended. A worn-out bar can cause a new chain to wear unevenly or derail, while a new bar paired with a stretched, old chain will significantly reduce your cutting efficiency and safety.

The chain arrives with a light factory coating for rust prevention, but it is not pre-lubricated for operation. You must ensure your chainsaw's oil reservoir is full and that the oiler is functioning correctly to lubricate the bar and chain immediately upon starting your first cut.
