These are designed for both. The durable English leather construction is robust enough for daily schooling sessions, while the classic flat-laced aesthetic is polished enough for the show ring.

The hook stud closure is a traditional and reliable method for attaching reins to the bit. It provides a clean, seamless look, but we recommend checking that the studs are fully seated and secure before every ride.

Nickel hardware is chosen for its durability and resistance to rust. However, like all metal tack, it should be wiped clean after use, especially after exposure to sweat or moisture, to maintain its finish and prevent buildup.

Because these are made from premium English leather, they are supple right out of the package. While they will soften further with regular conditioning and use, they do not require an extensive break-in period to feel comfortable in your hands.
