Paulownia is an exceptionally lightweight wood, which significantly reduces the swing weight of the ski, making long ascents much less fatiguing. When paired with the carbon-weave construction, it provides a snappy, energetic feel that balances that low weight with the necessary stiffness for downhill stability.

The early-rise tip is designed to keep the ski afloat in soft, deep powder, preventing the tips from diving. This feature makes the ski much more maneuverable in variable backcountry snow, allowing you to initiate turns easily without sacrificing the edge hold you need on firmer, steeper terrain.

The HyperVector is engineered for advanced to expert skiers who need a precise, agile tool for technical mountaineering. Its lightweight construction and responsive carbon-weave require a confident technique to manage, so it may be too demanding for someone still developing their fundamental skills.

The anti-ice topsheet prevents snow and ice from sticking to the top of your skis during the ascent. This keeps the skis significantly lighter throughout the day, as you aren't carrying the extra weight of accumulated snow on your way up the mountain.
