The Le Pro leather tip is designed to be hard and durable to withstand the impact of a break shot without deforming. While it is less prone to mushrooming than a soft tip, you should still scuff it occasionally to ensure it holds chalk properly.

Wood-to-wood joints provide a more consistent feel and feedback through the cue when you strike the ball. Because the materials are uniform, it often results in a smoother, more solid connection compared to metal-on-metal joints.
