While it excels in big mountain and backcountry terrain, the Declivity X is fully capable of handling resort laps. Its AR100 sidewall construction provides the edge grip needed for firm resort snow, though its 115mm waist width is best suited for days with fresh snow or soft conditions.

The Hybrid Caruba Core is designed to keep the ski lightweight and nimble without sacrificing stability. This allows you to maneuver through tight, technical terrain more easily than you would on a heavier, traditional wood-core ski, while still maintaining the dampness required for high-speed charging.

This ski is built for aggressive, expert-level riders who prioritize stability and control in demanding, high-consequence terrain. It is a stiff, directional charger that rewards a strong pilot who knows how to drive a ski through variable snow conditions.

Because the Declivity X has a 115mm waist width, you will need to pair them with bindings that have a brake width of at least 115mm to ensure proper clearance.

The AR Freeride Rocker profile features tip rocker for float in deep powder and a slightly rockered tail for easier turn release. This combination helps the ski track predictably through unpredictable, chopped-up snow rather than hooking or feeling catchy.

With a 22.5-meter turn radius, the Declivity X is built for long, sweeping arcs rather than quick, short-radius turns. While it can handle groomers, it will feel most at home making larger, high-speed turns rather than tight, slalom-style maneuvers.
