Yes, assembly is required. While the process is straightforward, the rack's size and 12-tier structure mean it is best tackled with a partner to help align the wave-shaped shelves during construction.

While the rack is designed as a freestanding unit, it includes wall anchor straps for added safety. Given its height of over 62 inches and high capacity, we strongly recommend using the anchors to prevent tipping, especially in homes with children or pets.

The wave-shaped shelving is primarily designed for standard 750ml wine bottles. Larger bottles may not fit securely in the grooves and could compromise the stability of the rack.

Horizontal storage keeps the wine in constant contact with the cork. This prevents the cork from drying out and shrinking, which helps maintain a proper seal and prevents oxygen from spoiling the wine.

Because it is crafted from natural wood, we recommend placing it in a climate-controlled environment like a dining room, kitchen, or finished cellar. Extreme fluctuations in humidity or temperature in a garage could cause the wood to warp or degrade over time.
