Foundroot Herb Stripper

This tool is designed for woody perennial herbs like rosemary, thyme, and oregano. It is also effective for stripping larger leafy greens such as kale, collard greens, and Swiss chard from their stems.

The cherry hardwood is left in its natural state, making it food-safe and tactile. We recommend occasionally rubbing it with a food-grade mineral oil or beeswax to maintain the wood's condition and prevent it from drying out.

Because it is crafted from natural hardwood, it is not dishwasher safe. Simply hand wash it with warm water and mild soap, then wipe it dry immediately to prevent the wood from warping or cracking.

The shape is contoured to fit naturally in your palm, which reduces the strain on your hand and wrist when you are processing large harvests. This makes it much more comfortable to use for extended periods compared to holding a thin, flat tool.

While it excels at stripping woody stems, it may be too aggressive for very tender, soft-stemmed herbs like cilantro or parsley. Those are generally easier to chop directly with a knife.
