Balboa Sensor Assembly

This sensor is a direct replacement for the 30278KIT. If your current system uses that specific kit, this assembly is designed to be a seamless, plug-and-play replacement.

The assembly features a 96-inch lead, which provides ample length for most standard spa control system installations. It also includes 31-inch cables to ensure you have enough reach for proper connection.

This assembly uses 1/4-inch bulbs. Before purchasing, verify that your existing sensor well or thermowell is sized to accommodate this standard 1/4-inch diameter.

You typically need to replace the sensor if your spa is displaying inaccurate temperature readings, showing error codes related to temperature regulation, or if the system fails to heat the water to your set point. Over time, sensors can drift or fail, leading to inconsistent water temperatures.
