The 12-ounce waxed cotton canvas is water-repellent, meaning it will easily shed light rain and protect your items from damp surfaces. However, it is not fully waterproof, so it should not be submerged in water.

The Neelum Giant Tote is not machine washable. To clean it, spot treat with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely. Avoid harsh detergents or scrubbing, as this can strip the wax finish.

The vegetable-tanned leather is durable but will benefit from occasional conditioning to keep it supple. Over time, both the leather and the waxed canvas will develop a unique patina, which is a natural part of the aging process for these materials.

The tote weighs 1.6 pounds. While it has some structure due to the heavy-duty canvas and metal hardware, it remains manageable for daily use.
