This bottom bracket uses a standard 1.37x24 English thread, which is the most common size for the vast majority of vintage and modern threaded frames. If your frame has a 68mm shell width, it will fit perfectly.

It is designed for the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) square taper interface. While most classic and modern square taper cranks use this standard, it is not compatible with Campagnolo ISO square taper cranks, which have a slightly different taper angle.

You will need a standard 20-tooth splined bottom bracket tool, which is the same tool used for most Shimano-style cartridge bottom brackets. A torque wrench is recommended for installation to ensure the cups are seated correctly without over-tightening.

Boron steel is exceptionally strong and durable, offering excellent resistance to the high stress loads placed on a bottom bracket spindle. While it is heavier than titanium or aluminum, it provides a stiffer, more reliable platform for power transfer and longevity.

Very little. The sealed cartridge bearings are designed to be maintenance-free, effectively keeping out dirt, grit, and moisture. You should not attempt to open or grease the bearings; simply replace the unit once the bearings eventually wear out.
