When you dip the brush head in water and apply it to a hot grill, the heat turns the water into steam. This steam helps loosen stubborn grease and burnt-on food, making it easier for the scrub head to lift debris away without harsh chemicals.

While it is designed to be safe and effective on hot grates, you can use it on a cold grill as well. However, the steam-cleaning benefit only activates when the brush head encounters a hot surface.

The brush head uses proprietary FlexTexture material that reacts to temperature. It stays firm in cold water for heavy-duty scrubbing and softens in warm water for lighter cleaning tasks.

The brush head is detachable, which makes it easy to clean in the dishwasher or replace when it eventually wears down. You do not need to discard the entire handle assembly.

The built-in stainless-steel scraper is designed to handle tough, stuck-on residue, but it should be used with care on delicate or coated grates. If you have non-stick or porcelain-coated grates, test a small area first to ensure it doesn't scratch the finish.
