The basket uses a standard quick-release handlebar bracket designed to fit most traditional bicycle handlebars. However, if you have an e-bike with a center-mounted display or a bike with very tight cabling, you may need to ensure there is enough clearance for the bracket to clamp securely.

While the synthetic weave is weather-resistant and won't rot or mildew like natural rattan when exposed to rain, the basket itself is open-topped. It will handle getting wet without damage, but it won't keep your belongings dry during a downpour.

The steel frame provides good structural integrity, but it is intended for light errands like groceries, a handbag, or a light jacket. We recommend keeping the load under 10-12 pounds to ensure your steering remains stable and the quick-release mechanism stays secure.

The quick-release mechanism is designed for convenience, which means it is also very easy to remove. If you are parking in a high-traffic area, it is best to detach the basket and carry it with you to prevent theft.

Once the quick-release bracket is properly tightened to your handlebars, the fit should be snug. If you notice any movement, double-check that the mounting bolts are fully tightened, as a loose bracket is the most common cause of rattling.
