Beryllium is exceptionally stiff yet lightweight, which allows the driver to react instantly to audio signals. This results in significantly higher resolution and clarity compared to traditional aluminum or fabric domes, effectively eliminating the coloration often found in standard speakers.

With a sensitivity of 92 dB, the Persona B is relatively efficient and can be driven by a wide range of amplifiers. While they are rated for 15 to 250 watts, pairing them with a high-quality amplifier will ensure you get the most out of their dynamic range and detail.

The Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA) lens acts as a phase plug, blocking out-of-phase frequencies. This smooths out the sound and ensures that the audio output remains consistent and distortion-free, even when you are listening off-axis.

As a bookshelf design, the Persona B is compact enough for smaller listening rooms, but their performance is robust enough to fill medium-sized spaces. Because they are rear-ported, you should experiment with their distance from the wall to ensure the bass response remains tight and accurate.

The seven-layer HDF cabinet is designed to be inert, meaning it resists internal vibrations that can color the sound. By minimizing cabinet resonance, the speaker ensures that what you hear is purely the music, rather than the sound of the enclosure itself.

The Persona B has a frequency response down to 60Hz, which provides solid, punchy bass for most music genres. However, if you are listening to bass-heavy electronic music or using them in a home theater setup, adding a dedicated subwoofer will help capture the lowest sub-bass frequencies.
